Through a fusion of digital and physical mediums, Prita Hasjim creates works that investigate the intersections of movement and human connection. Born and raised between San Francisco and Jakarta, her multicultural background infuses her practice with a unique perspective on spatial relationships and cultural dialogue.

As both a visual artist and performer, Hasjim seamlessly bridges traditional and contemporary forms of expression. Her background in fire performance and dance, including appearances at Burning Man, deeply influences her understanding of body, space, and temporality. Recent explorations in textiles and ceramics have expanded her practice, allowing her to weave tactile elements into her new media works.

Currently based in Paris, Hasjim is pursuing an MFA in Transdisciplinary New Media at Paris College of Art, where she continues to push the boundaries between physical craft and digital innovation.
